At LockWorks, we stand behind the quality of our work. We offer a 90-day warranty covering both parts and labor for all services we perform, starting from the date of service. This warranty ensures that any defects in materials or workmanship resulting from our service will be repaired or corrected at no additional cost to you.
What Our Warranty Covers
90-Day Parts and Labor: Our warranty covers any issues that arise due to the installation or function of new parts and the labor involved. If a lock we installed fails within 90 days due to a defect, we will fix it.
Manufacturer’s Warranty: In addition to our 90-day warranty, any parts we install will also be covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. If the manufacturer’s warranty extends beyond our 90-day period, that longer coverage will apply to the part itself. We will provide you with the necessary information to file a claim with the manufacturer, if needed.
What Our Warranty Does Not Cover
To ensure our warranty remains fair and effective, there are some specific situations it does not cover. Our coverage applies to standard use and proper installation; it does not cover:
- Customer Modifications: Any damage or malfunction caused by attempts to fix, modify, or disable the lock or security system after our service is complete.
- Misuse or Accidental Damage: Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidental harm, such as a broken key stuck in a lock or a door being forced open.
- Third-Party Work: Damage or issues caused by repairs or services performed by anyone other than a certified LockWorks technician.
- External Factors: Damage caused by events outside of our control, including but not limited to, fire, theft, vandalism, natural disasters, or other “acts of God.”
How to Claim Warranty Service
To claim coverage, you must notify us within the 90-day warranty period. We will then schedule a time to inspect the issue and perform the necessary repair or correction at no additional charge.
